New developments in science are ongoing, and new discoveries keep coming. For example, in May 2003, a study was published showing that humans emit faint light. In June 2015, the National Institutes of Health announced the existence of lymph vessels in the brain.
We know that our bodies generate electricity. Our heart beats are created by a chemical-electrical spark in the sinoatrial node. Our nerves communicate using electro-chemical reactions. Emotions are also electro-chemical events.
Physics tells us that where electrical current exists, magnetic fields exist. Scientists call this the Human Biofield.
Physical equilibrium allows our bodies to function properly, including the ability to make repairs. Mental and emotional balance makes it easier to respond rather than react.
Awareness of consciousness honors the fact that we are more than our thoughts, emotions, and physicality. Life events can distract or disrupt us, and we may begin to feel distant or unobservant of our actions. By bringing our awareness back to the Consciousness of Self and easing the tensions from living, we can regain our inner connections and move into a state of balance.
We use and teach clients tools during sessions which move us towards finding and maintaining balance.
Practitioners of traditional healing approaches such as Reiki often have highly developed sensitivity that allows them to detect subtle variances in the clients' Biofield.
Traditional or Complementary healthcare seeks to optimize and organize the flow of energy in the Biofield. This supports the body and mind working together to promote the healing process.*
Practitioner and Client Interaction
Clients often feel various sensations during sessions. These sensations tend to happen when the practitioner's electro-magnetic field interacts with the client's electro-magnetic field. Both practitioner and client may perceive shifts as changes in heat, pressure, or prickles.
Because the human body is self-regulating, the body itself is adjusting to that interaction. The tools we use like sound and gemstones work in similar ways: the body itself adjusts to the stimulus of the tool or the session facilitator.
Distance sessions work for reasons yet to be understood. In fact, scientists are still working to uncover the mechanisms behind particles reacting predictably and simultaneously at distance.
